Newtown, CT

This family of five wanted a brand new home tailored to their needs in an efficiently organized home. We studied multiple concepts before settling on a “North Meets South” theme. We combined traditional New England styling with accents inspired by the family’s time in South Carolina, such as a welcoming front porch with metal roof, and a high, airy screen porch anchoring the backyard. We created interiors that were clean and current, yet punctured by warm, traditional accents: a fieldstone fireplace, a board ceiling, hewn wood beams, and an off-white palette. The result is a comfortable, welcoming home that the family loves returning to each and every day!
